Pro 10 v Master 1

Postby GeneralZod » 18 Jun 2024, 23:58

Been playing on Pro 10 for a couple of weeks now and feel it becoming too easy, winning numerous tournaments including Masters against high ranked players is becoming a bit too easy, which i dont want.

My question is...how big is the step up to Master 1 in terms of AI challenge?

I want it to be tougher, and i assume it will be, but is the jump from Pro to Master difficulty a big leap, or something more subtle?

Played a few practice games and i could definitely notice the difference in the quality of shots coming back, but just how big is the leap overall, what is the AI more likely to do etc?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hello,

The difference between Master-1 and Pro-10 is smaller than the one between Pro-10 and Pro-9 (and the same for all the increments till Master-10).

Globally higher difficulty = better reflexes + aiming closer to the line (plus other less important things).

Thanks manu.

Do the CPU players on WT ratings change throughout their careers if you play 2023-2047, and if so, how, through results or some other method?

Or are they static forever, which would seem a bit odd?

Their skills change to get the strength required to reach their ranking goal for each year. In the fictional years, these rankings are randomly determined.
