I am trying to do a clean reinstall. But the XKT mod doesn't seem to go away and the XKT profile is selected on default. If I launch TE4 with no mods option, I get a blank blue screen. This didn't seem to happen before.

damn, the NoMod launch option has made the game crash since a recent update !

I fixed that for the next update, thanks to your report !

Meanwhile, in Windows explorer, go there : %APPDATA%/../LocalLow/Mana Games/Tennis Elbow 4
Then edit Tennis.ini and change this line, under [Game], from :
Profile = XKT
to :
Profile = Default

If you want to remove everything and start clean, delete these 2 folders :
- %APPDATA%/../LocalLow/Mana Games/Tennis Elbow 4
- C:\Users\Public\mod.io
