Happy to see TE 4's progress over the years. Now that we have gradually improved gameplay, I think it's about time that we add some new features, like online 4-human player doubles (instead of using a poor streaming mode on a third-party software). I know the priority might not be P0 but I wish it will be there soon. Currently, there is no tennis game that has achieved this, not even the recently released "big" game competitors. If TE 4 can make it happen, it would be a milestone. I actually think many people would be interested in this other than me. Let's see how many people are eagerly awaiting its implementation! If anyone has ideas, please leave a comment below.

Agreed, 4 player native online support would be awesome. Messing around with moonlight or steam remote play and changing everyone's key binds just to make it possible is a huge pain.

4-human double game and human-machine cooperative doubles are completely different experiences. I believe that the implementation of 4-human double game will definitely arouse the enthusiasm of onlookers to purchase and all players to enjoy the game

I'm 1000% with you on this. Having native support for online 2v2 doubles matches should be a no-brainer. Making players jump through hoops just to set up an online 2v2 game is just ridiculous. It's 2024, not 1997- this kind of functionality should have been implemented from launch.

Honestly it’s the biggest barrier to block more players enjoying the doubles that one cannot directly connect to the other 3 players in TE. Instead, people would have to leverage third-party tools and keep resetting keyboards every time.

Making the double function available as xk proposed would truly release the pain and is appealing to many players like me!

However, I have encountered significant issues when attempting to play four-player doubles online using Moonlight. The latency and keyboard problems severely hinder the experience, making it difficult to fully enjoy the matches.

As a loyal doubles player, I am eagerly looking forward to the implementation of true four-player online doubles within the game. Double game really gives different game experiences. More people will like doubles since it need more cooperation and provide more social attributes. It could lead more people to stick in this game.

Yes this would be a great! 4 player human doubles would draw a lot of people to the game and using third party software and changing keybinds + extra latency is a big inconvenience.

Sometimes it's a bit boring for me to play Singles. I totally agree that 4 Player human doubles would definitely bring the game fans more joy. Using 3rd party software to paly 4 Player human doubles often brings a lot of inconvenience. So I think it is the best timing to make this function as a great and fabulous implement to this game!

TE4 would be a perfect tennis game if 4-human player doubles can be implemented. I believe more players would enjoy this game and recommend their friends to try it. So I'm totally down for this proposal. Please at least consider it. Thanks a lot!

I also think that 4-human player doubles would be great if implemented in the game. Doubles can be so fun to play and it would enable also more variety in the game. There s nothing more fun than to blame someone else for your mistakes xD. Anyway, I think it would be a really fun idea for the game

sorry, it's very complicated to do, and I'm prioritizing the port to Playstation and animation improvements. So it's very unlikely I'll ever implement the online doubles with 4 PCs.
