Friction

Postby leo26 » 02 Jun 2024, 22:18

I've been watching this year's RG matches and I realized that the court friction is much higher than any court is in TE4. Meaning that, the ball after the bounce is much slower than it is in TE4. Even if I tune the CoF to a really high value it's still much lower than real life. 0.99 seems to be the highest value I can put, anything higher than that makes no difference.

Hello,

I think the speed after the bounce in real and in-game is about the same but the camera setting at the real Roland Garros makes it seem slower (ie: the aperture is quite low, something like 25% in Camera settings in TE4), plus the players often stand far from their baseline which gives them more time to hit the ball.
