Short accelerations are better than earlier after they updated some time ago. But still doesn't look they are effective especially on clay or slow surfaces. I like to use short acc but they are not tempting to use or it doesn't feel logical to use them instead of Acceleration almost any time any position. I'm curious what are the general thoughts here? Are people using effectively?

One more thing about it's trajectory which idk but smth i don't like it travels so slow? or still slow to me even though much better with the latest update. While i mostly use cross court i realized that when you try DTL, parallel high chance of hitting to the net even with high top spin skill.

My point is they are not tempting to use.
I still like to use it but its disadvantages looks more and doesn't reward much. Especially on clay people recover from corners by the time i use short acc.

Idk and asking short aceleration is different kind of shot but should short FH acceleration be slower than general BH acceleration. Idk i tested once but don't have the max numbers but i think speed can get boosted.

Smth like +3kmh to try to see if that makes any difference?
I still think their precision is hard to get and you need to charge very early to reach max speed and good precision.

I buffed the Short Accel about 1 year ago but I didn't get much feedback about it.

The short accel can get much slower than the regular accel, especially with a low Topspin skill, as it cannot be short & very fast at the same time.

A well crossed short accel is already deadly, except maybe on slow surfaces...
