I think I just had a realization about this. When a player strikes the ball, the speed of the ball immediately off the racquet is obviously not the same as the speed of the ball when it lands on the court. I think the issue with the speed of the game may be more related to the rate of deceleration. In other words, the ball needs to slow down more. IRL, the speed of the ball when it lands on the other side of the court is actually 50-70% of the speed it had when it was hit. Is this the way it is in the game right now ?

the only stats I found were for a few services, and IIRC, TE4 is very close to them.
However, the air resistance varies with the speed & the spin, and thus maybe it's not correct in all cases. Without hard data, it's complicated to tune it, though...
Globally, the air drag in TE4 is close to TE2013, except at very slow speed, where it was unrealistically too strong in TE2013.
If you find the exact weight of the current balls on the Tour, I could check if it matches the one in my formulas, as it's an important factor.

Something I wanted to mention: I play with Panzer accelerator, as this seems to slow the acceleration speed in general to a more realistic speed. When I use any other acceleration trait (including Regular acceleration), the speed is unrealistically faster.
