Geography advantage ?

Postby Simurgh » 19 Jun 2021, 12:02

hello,

i'm just curious as to whether there is a 'geographical advantage' in play in TE2013, & presumably TE4. for example, if a tournament is played in Scotland, do the Scottish players fare slightly better?

btw, been watching the progress on TE4, and admire it! i'll hold off on testing it until it's beyond rudimentary stages, and consider upgrading my system if i can in order to play it. i am fond of the 'cartoonish' aspect of the TE2013 graphics, tho, and hesitant to change)

Hello,

no, there's no bonus for that, except motivation-wise, but it plays almost no role in the match, except if the player gets tired.

TE4 is already beyond the rudimentary stages since a while, as it's more complete than TE2013, except for the Modding support. You can try out the demo to check if it's already ok for you or not...

thanks manu)

see, it's the subtleties like that - and there are many - that make this game so enjoyable. i thought i was seeing players do just a bit better when playing near their country of origin. not always, but slightly, well-balanced.

for sure i will try out TE4, once i get to a more stable connection to download it and try it out. thanks for all you do!
