TE4: How to do an Overhead Smash?

Postby John Hackenroe » 07 Jun 2021, 14:08

I am new to TE. I just purchased TE4 via Steam and am using an old XBox 360 controller. I am wondering how to do an overhead smash at the net. I am using default settings for button mapping (I think)

Thanks in advance & great game.

Hello,

you have to position your player where the ball is reachable, ie: about 3-meter high or less. If you're not, your player will go slowly backward when you press a strike button.

Usually, you have to stand around the service line.

Else, it works like the other strikes.

This is one of the difficult shots in TE, you have to position yourself correctly under the high lobbed ball.
