Guest,
the game already supports most kinds of controllers (as long as they're supported by Windows).

Congrats!
I think will be better for TE, if the custom game (without any mods etc) will be more like currently ITST MOD for example, or something similar. What I mean is that the first impression was good, encourage new players. Steam gives more opportunities, so I think it's a good moment for revolution and gain greater popularity!

fingers crossed!
Regards

Drifted, (I had forgotten to answer you early  )
Mac version for Steam will come later, if the Windows version is successful enough (if everything is well, it'll be released in beginning of June).

Everybody,
if you already have bought the game from managames.com , then get your Steam Key to try out the Beta version of TE2013 on Steam from here : https://www.managames.com/Key_en.php .

You need to sign in through Steam 1st (by clicking on the Green Steam icon), then enter your Customer ID, and if you got a new email address since you bought the game, then also enter your email address.
You'll then receive your License Key email with your Steam Key in it.
Warning: you can ask your License Key to be resent only once per day, so be sure to sign in through Steam 1st, else you won't get your Steam Key on 1st try, and double-check your email address.

Asking you to sign in through Steam 1st was the only way to connect your current online account to your Steam account, so you'll keep your ELO, number of played games, reputation, etc... You can swap between the Steam version and the MG version without problem, your account info should always stay the same.

If you have lost your Customer ID, then the 1st step is to request your License Key email to be resent. It can be done only to the email address you used during your order. Then the following day, you'll be able to request your Steam Key using your Customer ID from the License Key email.

Right now, there are only 99 Keys left, I called dibs on 1st one..! ':D

The current version lacks achievements, I'll be working on them next week.
If you can try out the Cloud saving, let me know, I'm not sure if it's working or not.
If you'd like to to be able to connect directly (ie: using Steam interface) to an online game hosted by a friend, let me know. I may be able to add this functionality, but before to spend time on it, I'd like to be sure it'll be frequently used.

You can ask the Key to be resent only 1 time per day. Further requests will be ignored.

this is fantastic if you didn't sign in via steam 1st like me ... hope the 99 keys aren't used before the 24hs are up :(

even if i sign in through steam it doesn't acknowledge this whether i use IE or FireFox

but everytime i hit the sign in button the next page states Sign In through Steam at http://www.managames.com

You are currently signed into Steam as <profile name>

then if i click Yes Sign In ... this sends me back to original managames but not signed in via steam

will wait until tomorrow i guess, hope it works then :D

mbcscp,
don't worry, you already got your Steam Key assigned to your account. When you request your License Key email tomorrow, you won't need to sign in with Steam again (if you do it, it won't bring any problem, though).
From the logs, you were able to sign in twice with Steam. If you successfully signed in, the sign in icon should disappear, and your Steam community nickname and icon should be displayed just above "Request".

I tried to get my Steam key but messed it up - I didn't put my Customer ID in (didn't have original key email so wasn't sure what it was) so I didn't get the Steam key.

I will try again tomorrow and hopefully obtain the key :).

Everybody,
it seems a bunch of people don't get their Steam account correctly detected... I'm not sure why. I tried to log in with my account with both Firefox & Chrome and I didn't have any issue.
Did you refresh the page before clicking Request ? (the Steam sign in works for only 1 page view, so if you refresh the page, it's lost ; with Firefox, checking page source reloads the URL, and thus the connection is lost as well)
Or maybe you're using your mobile ?
Did you see "Steam Account:" followed by your Steam Community name before to click on "Request" ?
I just changed the way your Steam ID is extracted, maybe it'll fix the problem.

Rob92,
as you bought 2 Keys with your email address, only the last one has been resent, and it's the one for Nigogu... So I just resent you your 1st Key, it's the one you should use to request your Steam Key.

Quick query.

I bought TE2009 and I think got the upgrades for free to 2013 which is amazing genriosity from you.
For the Beta I know I need to upgrade my Customer ID with the promo amount $9.99.

Am I better off just waiting to purchase the full game again on Steam ?
