Regarding acceleration shot

Postby Brad1981 » 24 Dec 2014, 22:08

I don't think the acceleration shot should lose pace after 7-8 shots. In real life, pros can keep hitting hard constantly throughout a point. I think the acceleration shot should have less accuracy to begin with, and then after 7-8 shots, lose accuracy at a faster pace, but not lose much power.

Hello,

read here : topic15-19405.php .

EDIT:
I'm not sure, but in case you play with the legacy no-tiredness system, then that's the source of your problem. With the current Tiredness system, acceleration speeds slowly lower once you get tired, while with the legacy system it goes right away to the minimum speed after the number of allowed accelerations is reached.

I use the default game with no add ons. I just feel that there should be more of a delay before the smoke starts to show, and I know there is a gradual decrease of power after that, but it would be nice to see it even more gradual. Or maybe like I mentioned in the suggestion post, of having the ability to turn this off, or be able to set the number of shots manually before it starts to lose power. Like after 15 shots, etc. And have this be in the .ini for offline play. I love having long clay court rallies, and sometimes I feel that the loss of power can take away from really good long rallies. Maybe have accuracy decrease a little more when using the acceleration shot. But I would be really happy with a parameter in the .ini

You can raise your stamina & the CPU's above 100% in Tennis.ini (with Skill Mode set to Free), this will give you more accelerations.

Yes, but it takes away from tiredness :( Just wish it was a separate setting.

You can also raise the speed % so it doesn't change the running tiredness, and then you lower the run acceleration & max speed with the cheat code inside Tennis.ini ..!

Oh Manu  That may be too complicated for me. I was hoping not to have to use the cheat code and worry about changing running speeds haha

It's not too hard, just 3 values to change in the .ini ... ;)
