ok, I see ; on one hand, I really don't like this kind of gameplay sliders : it really looks like the devs are saying "We don't know how to make our game plays well, so we give you tons of slider so hopefully you'll figure something out by yourself"...
On another hand, there are already tons of settings in Tennis.ini which allows similar control, so if I want to offer this tuning on consoles, I'll have to put them in the menus, as accessing the Tennis.ini directly won't be possible.
But on PC, I might not, at least not for now ; personally, I really prefer to offer a few determined settings, like Arcade/Simulation/Elite controls, or Slow/Medium/Fast AutoPos ; because as we say "too much choice is no choice at all
" (eg: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paradox_of_Choice
). On in another word : if there are too many sliders, with too many values for each, the average user will have no idea what is a good setting to enjoy the game, and will likely fuck up stuff ; if the default settings don't fit him, offering a couple of other choices is good, but more isn't.
