I've started a season mode few weeks ago, and I intend to win all 4 Grand Slams with my favourite player, Novak Djokovic.

Level : Incredible 1, no previews/aids, elite controls, without autopositionning

I've started my season with the Australian Open, destroyed 3 random guys, then I've made a come back from 2 sets to love in 1/8 against Gael Monfils (6/7 3/6 6/2 6/1 6/3). I'd another tough match in 1/4, facing an other frenchman, Gilles Simon, and played some solid tennis to beat Andy Murray in semis. In the lower part, Nadal had taken his revenge on Stan Wawrinka in semifinal. The spaniard executed me in this Australian Open final : 6/2 6/1 6/2

Following Nole's real 2014 calendar, I'd played Dubai, and had a great final against Federer, 6/4 5/7 6/3.
The Swiss got his revenge in Indian Wells' semi-final 6/3 6/2.

I'm now playing Miami final against Nadal, one set all for the moment.
I can't wait to start the clay season !!

unfortunally, my game crashed... and my carrer results gone forever!!!
Now, I want to play a "1 season" with one of my favourite player, Stanislas Wawrinka. Level pro 7 in 250/500, pro 8 in Masters 1000 and pro 9 in grand slams. I want to play the same tournaments that stan played in 2014... so first stop: Chennai! 1st Round against Guido Andreozzi, qualifier No. 253... wish me luck!

I finished leo mayer 6-1 6-3 , but after my 1/4 final which was vs tipsarevic i had a crash and the game wasnt saved.... so i had to retire all of them and moved directly to semifinals where i palyed haas 7/6 6/4 for a very hard win . The final i've played vs nadal and really .... i was just annoyed and retired after 0-5 in the first set , winning only 3 points... after this match i am going to play elite controls and may be pro 7 , cause i am not good on elite . Pro 7 until i win a slam or pro 8 we will see , moving on ... i am in Delray Beach now .. with possible match with ferrer in the semis and final vs almagro or simon . 1rd round match is with someone called parr , he is pretty decent but doesnt have big chance leading. I am leading 4-1 in the first !!

Here we go again.... I've destroyed this guy Parr with 6-1 6-0 and after that , i had very hard match against O.ROchus (Bel) . The scoreline was 6/3 6/2 but it wasnt that easy... he pushed me to my limits and in some of the points i've played like i play vs the big guys in slams. After him i've played vs M.Authome (BEL) .. what a strange match that was... we both served 4/4 without any problems , after that i've broke him for 5/4 , but lost my serve 5/5 ;D broke him again 6/5 and saved 5 break points in the 12th game , but lastly i've won the set 7/5. The second set was even weirder... got 3-0 lead and i thought its over for him... but somehow he made it to 3/3 and i was little scared , cause he was playing perfectly . In the next game i've instantly rebroke and went on to win 6-3 the second set. In the semi's i've played against ferrer. The first set ... lets just say he was "just a bit" better than me , he won 6-0. iN the second i'vé started 2-0 and had 2 break points for 3-0 , but he saved those BP and instantly rebroke me for 2-2. After that i've won only one game and lost the second set 3-6 . He wont the tournament. After delray i am playing in indian wells. Got bye in the first round and in the second i've played vs garcia- lopez ... 6/4 with 2 break of servers for me and one for him. The second set was easyer to win and i won it 6/2. Playing now vs almagro in third round

I won Dubai 2006 without dropping serve, beating James Blake 6-3, 6-1 in the final (beat Andy Murray 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 in QF in our first career meeting). I've now switched up difficulty to Master 5 and played out Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo. Sadly, I failed to defend all of these titles.
Indian Wells: notably beat Murray 6-4, 5-7, 6-1 in QF but lost 1-6, 7-5, 4-6 to Davydenko in the Semifinal. Nadal won the title
Miami: won my first match 6-0, 6-2, but then had to save 8 match points in R3 to beat Murray 6-1, 5-7, 7-6! Won my R4 match comfortably, then beat Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-2 in the QFs before losing to James Blake 6-3, 1-6, 1-6 in the semifinal.
Monte Carlo: Got destroyed 0-6, 2-6 by god-mode Davydenko in the QF. Winning streak on clay ended at 19, suffering my worst ever career defeat to date and lost the No. 1 ranking to Roger Federer after 46 weeks.

Now playing Madrid (where I am again defending champion). Won my first 2 matches both 6-3, 6-2 and am into the Quarterfinals.

Actually, does anyone know how I can beat Davydenko? I somehow did it at the 2006 Australian Open but the last 2 times he's been so tough! (To be fair I've been unbeatable in Australia so far and have a 27-0 record on synthetic hard courts)

2 awesome matches in Monte Carlo :
- against Kei Nishikori in 4th round, i was down 0/6 0/3, he was playing unreal tennis ! I've managed to change the course of the match and i've won 0/6 6/4 6/4
- against Stan Wawrinka in 1/4 : he'd won the two decisive points at 6/4 6/7 6/6 (5/5), and kicked me out of the tournament ! He'd captured the title, beating Nadal in the final.

Krish, i've never played against the russian, because i only play the 2013 or 2014 season, but I think his profile is quite like Nishikori. I think the key is variation, try to give him a different ball anytime, to "break the rythm".
I've seen that you are on a 7/0 lead against Rafa ? How do you do ? I've played this game for 2 years now, and in each season/career, with any kind of player, it's by far the toughest player I've faced up to.

In Madrid, I'd an easy draw until the semi final, in which I'd played David Ferrer.
The difference between him and Nadal is that everytime i play against Ferrer, i know it'll be tough but I know i'll win in the end, and everytime I face up to Nadal, i know it'll be tough and I know i'll lost

I've defeated Ferru 7/6 7/6, and I've been destroyed by the king of clay 6/1 6/2 in this Madrid final.
Tennis Elbow may be the most exciting tennis game ever, playing Nadal on clay is very boring...

Anyway, Rome is coming ! Last chance to win a MS1000 on clay before starting Roland Garros !

Hi, thanks for the tip on Davydenko - I'll try that next time!
Regarding Rafa, it depends firstly on your play style as well - my player is a left-handed baseline puncher (career mode - my own creation). The strategy is to take the ball early on backhand side then switch to inside out forehand and attack Rafa's backhand mercilessly. Occasionally switch the play and play to his forehand, then backhand, then forehand again, etc. Come to net only if you hit a great approach shot. Be very aggressive on clay, stay back and stick to the inside-out FH to BH play on grass and hard court and most of all be patient. It is about hitting consistently deep and beating him at his own game. Every time I play Rafa now I can understand that rhythm, so it is progressively easier - I still struggle against Federer, Davy, Coria, Hewitt and young Murray though

Well I have many careers lol. The best is currently the career of the Wilson Sisters. They've played from 1990-97 and have utterly dominated. But I'll get back to them. I'll talk more about a more humble career lol.

I am playing as a made up character Maria Bueno from Argentina (I know there was a real Maria Bueno but this has nothing to do with her lol). She's 17 and started playing in 1999. It's currently the beginning of 2001. Here are her stats.

She's won 1.3 million dollars. Has a record of 68-48 (61%). She has won 1 Title (Moscow a premier event). Her highest ranking was 13 but she currently sits at number 15.

I know that the strategy is to beat him at his own game, I've already captured Roland Garros title by beating him in the final in Master 1, but in Incredible 1 level, being patient against him is not enough, and being aggressive on his backhand is difficult, because he's able to go around (sorry for my english, i don't know if it's the right "expression") it to play a forehand or make a long slice, i just don't know what to do, but I'm confident, I'll find a way to beat him in this Roland Garros !!

I have to precise that I've made a lot of adjustments in the "players.atp" file, to match to the 2014 season, like raise up Nishikori's and Raonic's stats, make the Wawrinka's backhand one of the greatest, raise Nadal's stamina and forehand, give some extra bonus to the "rank per year" etc...because I'd sometimes too unrealistic results, especially in Grand Slams

Well this is going to be a short one... Had an very tough match with almagro , got broken 2 times but still managed to win 6/4 6/4. He played good with a lots of spinning (i've also had struggles with the elite controls though). My service is not that great on elite controls , also i make more mistakes , but i will learn it . I am still 17 years ld in the game and i am number 18 in the world , so its little bit unrealistic , i plan to make this career close to realistic. (for example it will be stupid if i beat anyone at my first year). After almagro i've played murray and... switched back to pro 7 elite controls , couldnt get a point on pro 8 elite... he still beat me 6/2 i was annoyed in the second set and retired after 0/2. Still the big 4 are too storng for me. I am playing now in Miami , (bye in first round) , second round vs hanescu , 6/3 the first set , the second
is 1-1. The interesting is , that del potro lost to berlocq , so in my section in second round i get verdasco , and then berlocq/chardy. So i think if i beat verdasco i've got a great chance of going to 1/4 finals , where i can face ferrer/isner (yeah they are no big4 or del potro ). So i think i've got very little chance for a semi's , but it will be very very tough and i doubt it will happen. Anyway if i get there i will play (almsot for sure) murray , the other chances are wawrinka or gasquet , but i think it will be murray ... and i will have to retire again
