Hi ManuTOO,

so I'm playing currently a career that goes up until 2028 and it's currently 2026 and I noticed that Alcaraz for example is struggling pretty badly. It's mid season and he's ranked 20th in the race. Which is not a huge deal, but I'd like the game to reflect his career and trajectory a bit better so I thought I'd edit his rank for the next couple years. Here's the problem though, in the .ini file of the mod, he only has rank entries up until 2024 and then the entries stop. And that seems to be the case for all the players. So now I'm not sure how a) I can properly change his rank per year, and b) how is the game even calculating how strong he is year by year from 2024 onwards? Is it just RNG kinda..? Also when will he retire? His ranks per year end in 2024 but he's still playing in 2026 and nothing in the .ini suggests a stopping date.

Also, the .ini only has maybe around 100 or 200 players in them. What about all the other players? Is each year just gonna freely rotate top 100 players because the game generates new ones and new ranking values year by year?

I know a lot of questions in here, but how can I make sure that e.g. Alcaraz and Sinner keep playing at a high level until 2030 or so? Do I just add ranks per year to their entry in the .ini file?

Hello,

1) Just add some RankPerYear till you have enough of them. eg: 2, 1, 1, 1 ...

If not, the game will use randomly generated ones, and make him retire around 33 years old.

2) There are around 4000 players in the Players.ini . Retiring players are replaced by newly generated ones.

3) To be sure to not lose your changes with the next XKT update, follow this tutorial => topic60-35939.php .

Thanks a lot! Gotcha, then I'll just add years to the players that I feel more strongly about performance-wise! Do you know by any chance when the next XKT update is, so that I can do what you suggested in case it happens before I'm finished with the savegame?
