no, sorry, there's no guideline about all that ; you have to find by yourself what works for your player in a general way, and specifically against your current opponent, which is often more about feeling than hard science...

1 quick tip : try to keep your Focus skill a bit above your (Speed + Muscle Tone) / 2, it may help.
Else, you can post a screenshot of your Character Sheet and I'll tell you if there's any obvious weakness about him.
