I've owned TE2013 for a while, and played with my controller for a long time with no problems. I took a break for a while, then picked the game back up ~1 month ago. For some reason, the controller didn't function during match play. I could control the menus like normal, but in a match I couldn't move the player or use the Button 1/2 strokes. I couldn't fix it no matter what I tried.

Today, I figured I'd buy TEM2 since the management aspect sounded neat, and I was looking forward to playing tennis again, but I ran into the exact same problem as in TE2013.

For TE2013 I tried the XInput = 1 trick (but couldn't find a config file for TEM2). In both games I made sure that the controller input type was selected. I can play fine if I select the keyboard option, but I really prefer to use my controller. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, I've used an XBox controller and a Steam controller, but nothing works. What else can I try?

Hello,

I guess you play both games with Steam and that Steam Input is activated for all games. You should disable it for TE2013 & TEM2 : right-click on the game name in the Steam library and look for the Steam Input checkbox.
