Hi,

First of all, I want to say that I am really enjoying the new Tennis Elbow Manager. I played the first one for around 6 years and loved it too. One thing I am experiencing on a new career I've started is winning games easily in 3D mode but losing the same matches in a text based system.

For example, I signed a 17 year old that looked like a decent player with a good potential for the future. I entered him into a Futures event and watched all of his matches in 3D. He qualified for the main draw and I came up against some players that looked better than my player. One of them looked better by a considerable margin, yet, I managed to win the tournament and won most of my matches 6-1 6-0 or 6-0 6-0. I thought this seemed too easy (I am playing on Master difficulty) so I went and re-played the matches on a text based match. Well, I didn't get past the first round, losing 6-3 6-2 to a player that I would expect my player to lose to.

Is there a bug at the moment where the 3D system is too easy? I didn't play these games myself, I watched them in simulation mode.

I think you can agree that on Master difficulty, my player should not be beating opponents like that, 6-0 6-0

I see 2 possibilities :
1) You have turned on the Manual Player Control during the 3D Match, which gave you the option to change your opponent level and you set him to an easy level (eg: Junior-10 instead of Pro-10), while your own player is still on Pro-10 and thus p-own'em all...

2) There's a bug that changed your opponent level ; it's not impossible because I made some change lately to how it works to prevent having the wrong level when turning off the Manual Player Control

You can press the Scroll Lock key (modifiable in Settings -> Controls) on your match opponent presentation screen to send me a bug report, and I'll check your saved game to know what's going on exactly.

Thank you for the reply! I have checked in settings and it appears that 'Manual control' has been turned off the whole time. I have sent across a bug report for you, hopefully you can spot something wrong.

I got your bug report and I had messed up setting up the level of our coached players, thus they were much stronger than our opponent.

It'll be fixed in today's build, thanks to your report !

Moreover, you did well by posting your match log, as it shows the level was incorrectly set for our player (the "Level07") but also there was a little bug (the "f2" instead of the actual level modifier, which is not used anymore and I just replaced it by the Form of the Day).

Thank you for taking the time to look at the file and fix the bug I did think it was a bit unrealistic that my player was beating everyone 6-0 6-0

Will the new patch be out later today?
