pidzi,
hum, I checked and it seemed the score can't be corrupted in itself, so it might be some weird side effect.

It's not a match you had stopped & reloaded, right ?

Could you turn on the Recordings in the Recordings menu, and press the Scroll Lock key (next to the Print screen key) the next time it happens ? It should send me the .dmo so I could replay the match and see if it happens on my PC or not.

Post a message in the forum if you do so because I didn't get a crash report in a long time, so I'm not sure it's still working correctly, or if there's not much crash anymore in the game, or no one is playing it... :P

pidzi,
it's what I have feared : the crash reporter doesn't work. I tried many things and I always got the report so I guess it must crash after a little while when playing the game normally.

If you didn't play the game since you have sent your report, could you post this file : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tennis Elbow Manager 2 [Unity]\Tennis Elbow Manager 2_Data\output_log.txt" ?

Also, could you manually send me the .dmo file ? Open the data folder from the menu Settings -> Profile -> Bottom left Folder icon, then it's in the "Profiles/Demos" folder.

The Unity version is customizable like the Legacy version, but as it's all bundled, you can't access the .ini files. So I'll have to release an SDK with them. Before that, you can use the .ini files from the Legacy TEM2 version : they are the same (or almost).

Just creating a Mod Folder and the game will use the .ini in there? Modded Tour data and 2D courts are a must have for me :D

cj1984,
yes, just use the Mods folder like before for the .ini files, except the .ini's which are not in the "Data" subfolder, are now in the "Ini" subfolder. eg: "Scripts/GameSys.Ini" is now in "Ini/GameSys.Ini".

For the Courts, they have been moved from "Data" to "Courts".
Also to preserve the Physics and other parameters, you have to create a "Court_Mod.ini" instead of a "Court.ini" (eg: "Mods\MySuperMod\Courts\Court01\Court_Mod.ini" for a 2D court replacing the clay court), and put this inside :

Code: Select all
[Data]
Boards      =   // This turns off the Match Time & Speed boards

[Camera]
Angle      =   -7.49429
Focal      =   // This turns off the default Focal
CustomFocal     =       3.38351   // This entry is for legacy TE2013's Focals
Dist            =       2722
Height          =       429
AspectRatio   =   16:10

Replace Angle, CustomFocal, Dist & Height with the values from the 2D court's court.ini .

AspectRatio can be "1.6" or "16:10", it's same. For a 16:9 court, put this instead :
Code: Select all
AspectRatio   =   16:9

For a new court, you can copy over its Court.ini, no need to use a Court_Mod.ini , but if there's a Focal line in it, you should replace it by :
Code: Select all
Focal      =   // This turns off the default Focal

@pidzi & everybody wondering about the Crash Reporter issue,

I checked everything and actually I think it was because of my server limitations : once a file was bigger than 2MB, it was dropped ; if the whole report was bigger than 8MB, it was totally dropped... :sweat:
So I could only receive reports with saved games having at maximum 1 year of play or something like that.

I just raised these limits and hopefully it'll work better now... :fear:

2) Go to Settings -> Profiles -> click on the bottom left icon to open the folder with the Tennis.ini

Great! Glad that I can help, the game's looking better every day :yes:

Hi Manu! I updated to the latest version and the camera looks like this. I have a still camera all zoomed out, medium height and low aperture. I almost can't see my side of the court beyond the baseline.

Is this a bug? I had a normal camera before the last update.

I also changed ForceSunIsBack from 0 to 1, but that's all I did in tennis.ini. Could that have something to do with this?

Strikeware203,
I had fixed the max unzoom for the 2D cam and it made the max unzoom for the 3D cam too narrow..! :sweat:
It's fixed in today's build, thanks to your report, plus I added the zoom slider for the Still & Scrolling 2D cams, as you have notified by your Bug Report. :yes:

That's great, it's all working good now :D

The only problem I have now is that I can't save players to the Training Club, don't know if that's really an issue or if it was intentional.

Strikeware203,
I got your bug report for the serve ; I had done a mismatch between 2 anims with the same name. It's fixed now.

pidzi,
I got your bug report too : the game was crashing when starting a World Tour doubles 3D match. It's fixed now as well. :yes:

Hi Manu! I tried out the latest SubBuild and I can save players now :D

Serve #16 (Djokovic) is fixed now, but I'm getting the same problem where the ball disappears and there's an animation glitch with serve #11 (Nadal). Maybe it's something that happens with every serve, so you should check that out.

Also, I'm getting some frame drops. I have a good computer (Intel Core i7-8700 / Geforce GTX 1070 / 16GB of RAM) and I used to have a stable 75 fps (I have a 75hz monitor) before with Vsync on, but now some frames are being skipped entirely and the framerate can get as low as 59. The performance gets a little better if I only leave the players on court, but there's still some frame drops, and I'd like to play with public and umpire on ':D

I tried turning Vsync off and I got over 130 fps but it just isn't as smooth as having Vsync on. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? :sweat:
