Tennis Elbow 2006 v1.0c just got released (Build 39) :

New features :
- Online : rematch button at the Match End screen
- Online : possibility to close the chat when it's opened by your opponent
- Online : IP override => if the main server doesn't detect your correct IP, you can now manually set it
- Online : Reject button => you can now reject a player from the connection screen, if you don't want to play with him
- Online : name protection for registered users => if you bought Tennis Elbow, then no one else can use your name anymore
- Online : preset chats => you can send quickly a few chat sentences by pressing the Shift key followed by F1-F8
- Online : you cannot be too close anymore of the service line to return your opponent's service
- Online : possibility to change your name within the network menu
- Online : 5% ELO penalty for quitters
- Online : if your opponent is away for more than 1m15 and you give up, then it'll be counted as a give up for his ELO, not yours
- Online : ELO is calculated only for singles (not for doubles)
- Online : possibility to have a personal message displayed when you create a server (to say you're waiting for someone, or you want to play with a certain type of players, etc...)
- Display : window size and position is saved on exit and restored on next launch

Changes :
- gameplay : CPU is smarter to counter drop shot
- gameplay : all surface rebounds have been slightly changed
- trial : you can now always play to the warm up mode, it's not limited to the 21 first days of trial anymore

Notes:
- build 37 & 38 were Mac only
- there are a good bunch of new features & changes in this update, so I tested more than usually, but it's likely that there are some little mistakes left, so don't hesitate to report any glitch you may notice

Build 40, September 11th:

Changes :
- gameplay : court bounces tuned again
- Online : ELO quit penalty reduced to 3%

New features :
- Online : opponent's quit penalty displayed on the Match End screen
- Online : must wait 1.5 seconds after have closed Menu & Chat to open them again

Bug fixes :
- World Tour : custom number of sets saved with the current match
- Misc : buttons opening Internet Browser link weren't working in the Build 39 (example : New version ChangeLog, Online Chat, etc...)

Online : if your opponent is away for more than 1m15 and you give up, then it'll be counted as a give up for his ELO, not yours

a player i have beaten two times in a row, has been in the menu for 5 minutes (on my break point when the score was 2-2 first set), during this time on players statistics it says +18 elo for me. i had to quit as he went to menu on purpose, and the elo for me was reduced by 13 points, and for him it was +13! soooo not fair!!!

Build 41, October 22nd :

Changes :
- gameplay : max top spin effect lowered by 15%
- double : CPU is swapping side with you after a little delay

Bug fixes :
- ELO : quit penalty wasn't displayed correctly when quitting after your opponent was in menus for more than 1m15

Build 42, November 6th:

Changes :
- Gameplay : cannot use a lot of top spin on the safe strike anymore
- Online : now the game doesn't pause anymore when you swap to another application

New features :
- Online : Give Up Rate is displayed after the Number of Games played; example : "Games: 50 -10%" means a player played 50 games, and gave up 10% of these games, so a total of 5 games; the Give Up counter just starts with this new build, so people who already played a lot of games will see their Give Up Rate grows slower than new players

Bug fixes :
- Online: maybe the crashes than a few people were experiencing on connection and at end of the game have been fixed

Just fixed a crash happening when entering the "Network" menu when never have played online before...
So if you downloaded the game within the last few hours and you never did a match online, you should re-download the game now (from the website).

Build 44, January 16th:

Changes :
- Online : when playing against registered users, players with demo can now play on any surface !
- Online : Give Up Rate is raised as soon as 1 game as been played

Bug fixes :
- a crash removed when launching the game from the bad directory (normally, no one should do like this, but it seems many people fail to create a shortcut in the right way)
- build 43 didn't display the score & time during the match, and has been removed/updated

Build 45, April 1st:

New Features :
- Added the option to have 0 game per set ; with this setting, you'll do only tie-breaks

Changes :
- when you add slice effect during the preparation of your strike, and then you do a top spin strike, the slice effect is now in the correct direction, thus you can do the famous Nadal passing..!

Bug fixes :
- some of the skills for strikes were mixed up (ie: forehand skill was also used for backhand)
- a couple of other little bugs fixed

Build 46, May 8th:

New Features :
- Online : in Tourney & Fair modes, now it's not possible anymore to serve from the outer half of the court (this is to prevent too crossed services, which force the returner to be off-screen)
- In-game : show the number of deuces at the end of the point leading to a deuce
- Animation : now, when your strike the ball after have run backward, you'll usually have a strike animation instead of the idle animation

Bug fixes :
- Difficulty : the CPU players were reacting too fast in all difficulty levels from Beginner to Master (so Incredible wasn't concerned) ; because of this, it was way too hard to do winners against them ! (this bug was introduced in last August 2007 )
- Replay : sometimes, the Preview arrows could be shown instead of the ground trace

Build 47, August 6th:

New Features :
- Online : you can now temporally ban the players that annoy you, but the ban list will be reset each time you start the game

Changes :
- the maximum top spin effect has been reduced

Bug fixes :
- Online : fixed a crash when joining a game while having a widescreen display
- the game will still start correctly even if it was closed while minimized

Build 48, October 31st:

Changes :

- online: very tiny change in the connection protocol
- gameplay: when at the net, your player won't hit anymore a ball that is going to be out by more than ~1.5 meters

there are some problems in the new update. the draw and the fonts in it as well as in the ranking boards are, well, not that good...

also in this new update the number of sets played in world tour mode has been reset to 1 set per match as default, and it cant be restored by editing the wt_current.dat file. this is really annoying as now i have to manually set the number of sets for each match. the settings in wt_current.dat file are:
