Movement Stuck (Sometimes)

Postby Hit'em-Hard Kelly » 23 Jul 2007, 04:02

Every once and a while I am playing, and all of a sudden my player starts moving right or left out of my control. I always thought it was my arrow key that was stuck, but I noticed that in other programs it is fine, and my arrow keys are not stuck. This becomes a problem when I'm playing online because, well, I think its pretty obvious (if you can't control your player, you can't play!). What could be the cause of this?

Hello,

it's very likely a trouble with your keyboard which can't handle more than 3 keys pressed at the same time when using arrows...
The best way to resolve this is to map the direction keys to 8, 4, 5, 6 on the numpad (or even better, use a gamepad ! ;) )

still likely from hardware problem from the keyboard... (it can happen even with good keyboards)

The best is to use numpad keys and do not use CTRL+ALT for accelerations, but use another key (you can map it in the control menu)
