ITST Mod is a Tennis Elbow 2013 game modification dedicated to *online* competitive play using sim settings, bringing a balanced roster of 68 pros custom animated players, 70+ custom 2D courts, custom outfits, sounds, and menu interface.

It's updated on a regular basis to add new content (animations, HD courts, UI customizations) and fine tune the gameplay balance.

The mod doesn't contain any customization for offline World Tour Career mode.

About ITST Mod :

The main focus of the mod is to provide simlation-like settings with a realistic roster of pro characters. We are playing with simulation controls, slow auto-positioning, previews off, fatigue on and fixed characters stats (means character sheet is locked to avoid an awkward stuff like making federer one handed backhand to double handed, etc).

The ITST Mod is regularly updated, as the number 1.17 could indicate, is already a 17th update in 3 year history of the mod. It is updated with a new stuff and features to ensure even better experience. Mod has a test team which tests the balance of the roster and if needed, modifying the stats to reflect the real counterparts as much as possible but still keeping the balance (i.e with some characters we have to divert from their real counterparts to ensure balance is there).

Roster contains 68 pro players ranging from the most famous like Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, Berdych, to less known like Dodig or Tursunov for example and from the young guns like Kyrgios or Coric to Old Dogs like Ferrer or Haas to ensure the diversity of the roster, so everyone can play what he likes the most.
The courts available in the mod are set up in order of the real ATP Calendar. You will find there almost all the courts all over the world. Courts physics have also been adjusted to better reflect the real courts behaviour but also to to achieve the acceptable gameplay within our general character stats.

Mod also contains most of the finest animations created by community, making the game look even more real ( you will see for example Federer, Nadal, Berdych, Ferrer, Nishikori and many others with their dedicated animations which looks like real life motions).

That would be the briefbut infromative introduction of ITST Tennis Elbow Mod.

This optionnal patch removes the graphic Ads on 3D courts, if you want to remove them for visual cumfort purposes when using 3D mode.
Please not that there is no more Full Mod version for the NoAds feature. It's now a very
lightweight patch that you have to apply after installing ITST Mod 1.17.



Installer :

- Fresh install recommended

- Simply point The installer to your TE installation folder.

- Modified the installer so it should detect TE installation path for the Steam version, if it's installed.
The installer still works for Steam or non-Steam installs, but that should make the installation for Steam
users easyer. If for some reason TE Steam folder is not detected properly, you can simply install pointing
to the TE Steam folder, wich is : ../Steam/SteamApps/common/Tennis Elbow 2013.

- during installation, the installer runs a sound FX decompression, in a black dos-prompt like window, don't close this window manually,
it will close by itself when it's job is done (if you do you will miss some sounds and you'll need to re-install).

- Added an icon/link for ITST Mod Steam Group ( http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ITSTMod ).
Feel free to join this Steam group if your are a Steam user.

- No need anymore to manually create a profile after installation. At first launch, the ITST profile is created automatically and you should be able to load roster characters right away.

- The installer should create a "Run_TE_Vanilla" shortcut on your desktop, wich allows to launch standard unmodded TE. The main TE executable shortcut will launch TE/modded ITST.

2D Courts / Graphics :

There is one court selectable for each 2012 calendar tournament, or sometimes 2 courts available with different cameras views, and usually 3 different courts available for grand slams, though if you are using 3D mode, the court loaded will be the same for those tournaments.

Still there is not always good quality HD courts available for each tournaments, therefore you can see it like reserved spots for future use when some nice HD courts will be available, we will then replace current ones in the right spot. When we couldn't find any good court for a tournament, we used then a good quality court using the same surface physics, For example, Los Angeles is still playing on Indian Wells court, or Washington Citi Open plays on Atlanta court, same goes for some clay courts wich uses a nice Davis Cup (Roquebrune) clay court, etc.

We usually use a tagline when hosting a game to notify the version that we are hosting with, like "ITST Mod", to avoid any hassle for both standard TE and ITST mod communities.

Several logos are available @ google images just doing a search in the "large" images Though yes i used some that you provided wich i couldn't find in
a good enough resolution to build the court buttons

it's considerably resized (not hd anymore) for size/weight purposes, but as it's resized from a good quality image, it's still pretty crisp.

Certainly the best Online mod ever regarding the work done and the result (no desync). A lot of people begin to play with it and organize exhibitions tournaments, it's really great ! Everybody on the tennis elbow channel on quakenet (#TE2011) play with it currently, it's largely better to play online matches with that than with the normal version of the game !

The MOD was designed for online competitive play. Try playing it online against other players you can find in Chat. Usually someone is always available. All the player attributes are locked - so you can be sure you will be playing against a balanced player


BTW - our roster is being updated all the time, to reflect the real life tennis. For example, Andy Roddick is retired and we are currently holding a poll for a proper replacement for him in the roster.

hi
i downloaded the ITST 1.08 mod for TE 2011.
i followed the instructions step by step but right from the beginning, not all buttons and things loaded ingame.
(i tried to upload a picture but this forum didn't let me... "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs.")
after creating the new ITST named profile i went to the characters sheet but all i found was a default player but none of the 36 atp players to load.

somebody pls help me with this as i'm so excited to play this mod online!
