Did that................still nothing...............sad..............this is the only online game I play that has this type of trouble................maybe its time to just walk away. Im not a computer savy person and am not comfortable with going in to settings and rearranging files to play an online game. This didnt happen until I had to download a newer version..........oh well........it was fun while it lasted

alternatively, you can try to install the game in another folder.

I have this same problem, opened up firewall and everything and tried installing to a new folder but still doesn't work

I just dont understand after playing for 12 years that all of a sudden I cant host games.............Ive tried all of the "tricks" mentioned in other posts and still nothing......guess I wont be buying the new version.

as it seems you didn't buy the game in the past 12 years, I guess I won't be missing too much money...
As there's absolutely no reason I'd do a change to the network code just now after 12 years it was working, the most likely reason is a change in your network configuration ; for example, in your ISP settings.
But anyway, I will do a push-through server for TE4, so you'll likely be able to host with it, and go on playing for free.

I beg to differ.........I played the demo for a bit and loved it back in 2005.....I purchased the game in 2005....I still even have the "KEY CODE"..........JOFQHKUG..............then the newer version came out I bought it.............but then I had a computer crash............but didnt get around to buying another to install on this new PC I have.........So I must say Im disappointed at being called a free loader. With that being said I love this game..........and its the best PC Tennis game out there......................... I hope when the new version comes out this problem is taken care of.......NOTE: I am not some 13 year old or 20 year old living in the basement.......Im a 51 year old customer of this product......so a little respect would be nice
