Played on Cement surface, it was pretty much Nadal vs Nadal out there. I really don't know what to say, we both played like robots and we weren't missing when it mattered the most during the 5th. The key breakthrough I got was a *15-40, two break and match point opportunities at 7-6* in the fifth, and unfortunately at my first MP opportunity, he fired long with his forehand during a short rally. I can't believe I'm saying this, but my wrists are hurting bad from pressing the keyboard so hard for so long
. His heavy forehands were giving me fits throughout, and I had to defend like crazy, and he mixed up his serves so good I began to gradually struggle more and more to read his serve as the match progressed. It's not cool to have losers when you get this deep, I feel sorry for the guy, but I guess it is what it is. He has some pretty good talent and mental strength, I think he deserves a place here in the forums xD.It was a great marathon contest to be a part of.
Final score 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, 6-7(7), 8-6.
