Preview and aiming issue in online games

Hello,

When I play online games, because I have ADSL connection with dynamic IP address it is impossible for me to host a game. That's why I always play my online games after joining game hosted by opponent. I've noticed that sometimes, some players online are turning off previews of ball, and aiming zone, that can be turned on and off in character sheet. In that case I can't see those markers too. SInce I've started to play against CPU I was using that and without them it is harder for me to play. Is that always dependent of host ? I can understand that some people likes more to play without any markers on court during the rallies but stil I was learning to play with them and can't find the way to play in same way without markers. I am wandering what is going on in tournament tour when I have to play match with some player who don't like to use those markers and he is hosting game ? That means I have to play by his/her rule ?

Is is possible to fix that in some update and allow that markers on/off is determined on client side so that everyone can decide to use markers or not ?

Thank you

Hello,

everybody can host a game, as long as his router & firewall are well configured (and his ISP doesn't do some specific filtering). It's not related to adsl & dynamic IP.

About markers, it depends of the mode. In Free mode, all are allowed. In Fair mode, only Danger Zone & lower. In Tourney, only Impact Preview, and lower. And your opponent's helper depends of his settings, not yours.

Thanks for explanation. I understand, I was wrong about turning on/off previews.

Anyway espec thanks fro explanaiton about static/dynamic IP address, I found the way how to setup my router NAT rule to forward port 4321 to my PC, now I can host games without any problem.
