So basically I wanna know what's that all about. How that works for tournaments (when the ping is too high) ,what's the procedure of doing it etc.

and btw, ping and ms-that appears during an online match is the same thing?

the ip you have to give to your opponent when the ping is too high for him to enter normally is the detected ip which appears in the main network games screen, I think it's not exactly your PC ip so there is no risk on giving it, you can write it down as the personal message or by his e-mail/msn. That's basically it
