Mana Games

I've been patient for long time, but now patience is over. Can you please solve your problem, that sometimes, for me especially when changing players, there is shown in game "Cannot connect to website. Please check your internet connection" when trying to find internet games? This is very annoying. Thank you. P.S. My internet connection is allright.

do you use ManaGames version or Steam version ?
With MG version, I never get this issue ; with Steam, it happens sometimes, when Steam servers are busy I guess ; I can't do much about that, though... And once it's connected, usually, it's fine (ie: it's same than MG version)

I'm using Steam version but I thought its using same servers as non-Steam version.

BTW nice censorship of my subject manutoo.

When you buy the game from ManaGames, the Key info is stocked on ManaGames server so it's very fast to log in.
When you buy the game Steam, the ManaGames server has to :
1- check your Steam Identity
2- check that Steam Identity actually owns TE2013
That's 2 calls to Steam servers, and if they're busy (which seems to happens particularly in the evening at GMT+2), it can take a very long time & even time out. There's no much I can do on my side to avoid that (at least without building some complex cache system).

Did you notice if the error was more or less frequent depending the hour of the day ?

PS: I always rename the subject when it doesn't describe what the topic is actually about, because I don't want the Forum users to lose time opening topic they're not sure what they are about.

1) I bought game on ManaGames but then I switched to Steam
2) I thought it's checking on startup, not when trying to play online.

1) in that case, it's same than if you bought the game on Steam, as the Steam version doesn't contain your Key info, so you're identified by your Steam ID
2) you're logged in when you enter the Network menu, and logged out when you play vs the CPU or change your player's name within the Character Sheet
