Rude players

Postby Stefan Edberg » 03 Mar 2009, 16:45

First of all i find it very good that so many new players found this game! The games are much better than in 06. More closer and u must not be an expert on net to win matches. Thats great! But i think it is very boring and sad that so many new players are rude and accuse(?) me of cheeating. I dont know how many times some player accuse me for that and says allot of bad things. Its only new players because experienced players who have played much know that nobody cheets here. When i try to explain for them that i dont cheet and i dont know HOW to cheet they only accuse me to be a liar... lol And ofcourse they retire then... Is it somebody who feels like me or am i the only one...? I think i will only play against players i have played before and as i now that it will be a great match with now rude talk and retire....
Playing just for FUN, and u should also do that ;-)

Hi Stefan...
Well what can i say...first of all no one is old enough not to play video games or games of all sorts.
There are a lot of rude and mean people here and most of them really are new to the game, but this is no exuse to anybody as i have been playing this game myself for only 2 months...
I get really angry when someone says im a cheater or quits when i lead the score.I even had a match where the result was 4-4 no breaks,i broke and had 5-4 40-0 and he retired....c'mon what kinda sick fuck or a child should do that...i have lost from players not having more than 6 points a match...like against you.. 8-)
Dont pay attention to these players.I have been accused of cheating cause i modified my player and i played with someone (dont remember a name) and he told me that i cheat cause he remembers me beeing weaker.
Anyway...those guys wont even stick to the game for more that couple of weeks...
Stay calm and embrace perfection.
 See ya

There's always going to be people that will accuse you of cheating, no matter how bad you are (and I'm quite bad). Especially when there's de-syncing.

Quitters, there's many. But, I can understand when someone has no chance of winning or the lag gets annoying.

As for rude players, most behave well. There's a few bad apples... as one can see just by reading the tournament forum here. I remember one of my first online games vs. Black Vilas... as anyone who's played him knows he's very annoying. It took me months to want to play online again after that. Just have to drown them out, as hard as it can be.

A few players that have been a nuisance...

Calen - Swearing at me after every point and accusing me of cheating because I could run down most of his balls. Just imagine if he played someone good. He has a 20% quit rate, so I should have known from the start.

MONEY BALLER - Kept complaining about my stats, and that I should "grow up" because I put more skill points to my strokes. I tried telling him he can do the same, but that didn't go very well.

Rafa Nadal - Not that he can be found with the tons of people named Nadal in this game, but he just wanted to troll me and sit in the menus forever because he was horrible.

Maciek78 has just become my absolute nemesis! :x We played a match a few minutes ago, and he was incredibly rude and immature. First, he started by returning my serves way inside the court, which was effective for him, since he broke me ... twice. After loosing the first set, I decided to lob my returns, just to get back at him, and this is when he started to insult me relentlessly between points. He also accused me of cheating because I lobbed my returns, though I explained him that if he stepped back a bit to return my serves i would stop lobbing to return his. Anyway I was a shot away from wining the second set at 5-4 for me and he left the game in the middle of the set point.

Maciek78 must be a 13yo frustrated young prick, but I'm sick of all these players who are nothing but rude. Is there a way to blackball rude players from the online application? It would be so cool... :|

maciek78 is not rude normally, not against me at least, might be a little annoying that he returns way too inside the court, and i also hate lobbing on return but i would not insult you if you use them, just keep doing my game and if i'm better than you i'd win anyway, no?
