this is my question when i create a game, i click on test connection, and im living in canada so the central usa its really near than my house, the lag goes to 290 ms, and normally it supposed to go to 154 ms why is it sohigh?

Hello,

it could be coz of network congestion, or maybe the test server is too much loaded, etc...
The test is just supposed to check the connectivity, not the speed, so don't worry about the actual reported ping...

turn off any download you may have.
Except that, there's nothing much to do...
If you don't have a fast Internet access, you can't get below 300ms.

I checked ur IP, it seems u're in Australia, so u just can't have good ping with people in countries far from yours (ie: Europe, America, etc...)

I am also in Australia and want to play other human players but nothing lets me join my ping says it is 380 is there anyway that we can make it so that i can play people too?

As stated ealier in this topic, the only thing you can do is to find some buddies in Aussie or near countries to play with...

I don´t get this. In one of the previous versions (not the previous one, but I think the one before), everytime I tried to test connection it told me that my ping is around 70... but then TE got updated and my ping never goes below 300 although I have the same connection as before. How can I play with someone from Argentina when we can´t join each others games?

actually, in real, there are 2 test servers, and none are in USA ; 1 is in France, and another is in Singapore... All of this, coz my host doesn't allow to do a custom connection test, so I had to look for alternative solutions.
So going from 70ms to 300ms means, the server in France was down when you did the test, I guess...

Well I'm doing the test regularly and it always shows me that my ping is over 300 when it should be much lower Which is bad because I think I have very fast connection so I should normally be able to comfortably join games with max ping 250

Previously i could join tom or lindsay easily ,both are from czech republic, but not anymore i get on an average 300 ping. Im not sure about the latest ping but it was 300 or so few days ago :S.Never had such problems before with them.
