Player keep joining my game but I dont want to play with him

Postby Tom Paulman » 10 Jan 2008, 18:13

Hi,
there are players that I don´t want to play with, i. e. their connection is way too slow or they retire everytime I break them. But the problem is, they still keep joining my games, despire getting rejected all the time! So I host a game, they join, I reject them, they join etc etc... really annoying. Do you think it would be possible to disallow these players to join my games when they get refused?

Hello,

maybe I'll add this possibility someday...

For now, if you have an advanced firewall, you might want to try to block their IP.
When a player joined your game, his IP should be the only one your game is in contact with (in addition of www.managames.com ), so if your firewall is quite advanced and let you see all current connections for all current running programs, you may be able to block his IP for the session.

Manutoo, please can this be implemented in the next version? I am really sick of pressing Reject 100 times in a row, and some players are just so annoying that they won´t stop joining. Can there be an option, if a player joins my game, to reject him forever (till I quit the game) so he can´t keep joining my game?
