hey Guys.. i was wondering why im unable to play online..
i have checked all the settings and im unable to get my ping down to the 250 limit...
i am from australia but my internet connection is fairly quick.. 1.5 so i was hopeing thats not the reason..

could someone shed some light on this for me?

Hello,

Australia is just too far from USA & Europe, so it's normal your ping with people is these countries is way above 250.
Unfortunately, you can only play with people in Oceania and South-East Asia...

Then, what explains my problem? I play on Gamespy and have better connection with players from Australian. I am American.

I do not get why there is a ping issue with this game. Nah. Do not get it at all.

q. reese, what kind of pings do you get with Aussie players on Gamespy ..?
and for what game ?

You might get worst ping with TE2006, coz it needs 60 net packets / second ... Where most games work with ~20 packets / second.
