Hi all, here is a smaller update with regards to the recent vanilla update alongside a couple of fixes and improvements!

Sorry if I sound stupid but what is vanilla update? i'm currently running v0.79 (Build 102-2023.1.28-2) with (MacOS, RAR) TE4 XKT Patch v2.1. Is vanilla the update from managames on 1/28/2023?

You need to update the game to v0.80. Vanilla update refers to base game update.

I have tried it today and the most recent year that it lets me play is 2020

Note: If you have XKT v2.1 installed, you won't need to uninstall it. You may only download the XKT v2.1b update installer and install on top of XKT v2.1.

XKT v2.1b includes:
- Added critical point display to all scoreboards + new AO 2023 scoreboard for AO Night + real match time on ATP scoreboard
- Updated World Tour player list (includes current top 200 rankings for both ATP and WTA)
- Fixed a few surface textures and night session lighting
- Synced with the original game to display strength and weakness in Character Sheet
- Fixed "unknown code" for match time default selection
- Fixed bugs in seeding / ranking display in World Tour career mode and disabled it in training club and online
- Corrected opponent flags for online mode (Set your own flag in Character Sheet - Player 1)
- A few new outfits and textures for both male and female players
- Added French version of the new preset chats in online mode
- Fixed screen resolution issue for Steam Deck users

I just tried with the 0.80 version of TE4 and the 2.1b, the screen is still cropped down right for the steam deck, can't see the number of shots, truly sorry, maybe I did something wrong? Thanks for your hard work!!

I'm playing the Aussie Open. Since installing the 2.1b update, the player seedings on the scorboard keep changing from 0's for BOTH players, a seed for one player but not the other, or no seedings at all. Is anyone else seeing this? Yes Installed 2.1b after 2.1.

I have another problem, I don’t know if it’s only steam deck related or if I’m French, but the slideshow like "breakpoint/shot speed/" seems broken, the text is not readable sometimes it’s readable, sometimes the white square behind disappear

I think in the vanilla update 0.8 manutoo wrote "Modding : if you have a Modded player base, you won't be able to start in 2023."

I wouldn't risk changing it at this point, as I'm afraid it will break people's career if I end up pushing a new update.

You mean all the players show up as 0 seeds, regardless of their rankings?
