My controller works fine for career mode play, but for some reason when I connect online to play others it won't move and the buttons do nothing. Any suggestions here to get it working for online play?

that's rather strange, it should work same. If you play in the Training Club against the CPU, your controls are working normally ?

Yes, that's why I'm so confused, I try to play against someone in an online match and none of my buttons do anything. When I play career mode it works fine. Here is a career mode match I put on my YouTube channel. As you will see in the video below it is fine in career mode. Is there any kind of controller you would recommend? Like an Xbox 360 controller? Even my laptop arrow keys do nothing when I try to play online, I can navigate the ping refresh just fine, but as soon as the match starts no movement or swings.

Any thoughts? I have the updated Sams patch installed, and I actually just did a re-install of everything today and no luck.

Could you try to play with Keyboard to see if it changes anything..?

Unfortunately the keyboard doesn't work for me online either, really confusing and I want to play online badly! Let me try again in a little bit and see if anything changes. I have no idea what it could be, all I did was install Sams patch.
