how to return serves on higher difficulty levels?

I am literally being aced half the freaking time on Master and Incredible level, so I can almost never break serve. Am I just that horrible of a player, and are there any strategies/tips that are available?

Hello,
stand a bit more far from the baseline, especially on slow surfaces where bounce is high.
Possibly, press a strike button when your opponent hits the ball, so your player will automatically moves in the good direction of the serve ; depending of your eye sensibility, that may give some help.
