Hi. I installed the update. I did have a kind of service and now the service have an higher toss. Can I change settings without start a new tour?
And....the crowd and chairman animation vanished....it's a bug of my installation?
I didn't understand one thing: I use z,x,c for strikes b1, b2 and b1+b2. What it means what you wrote about new fire 4 and 5? (I'm italian and I don't understand english language very well, hehehh).

Many thanks. :jap:

The Engraver,
To change your strike styles, while the game is closed, edit the Tennis.ini (or the .ini of your custom Profile in the "Profile" subfolder), change this line, under [3dEngine], from :
DevMode = 0
to :
DevMode = 1
Save the file, and launch the game.
Then you could change your strikes in the Outfit configuration screen.
It's more safe to set DevMode back to 0 once u're done.

About the additional Fire buttons, you can remap the strikes to other button, if you want to.
If you're fine with the current controls, then just do nothing.

Many thanks. But I have a problem: how can I open the file Tennis.ini? The Mac ask me the application for opening it.

EDIT: Resolved. I opened with textedit.app. It run well. Many thanks.

Oh....many compliments!!!! I love so much the different lightnings for different sides of the field, it give very more realism!! And overall I love very, very, but veeeery much the new running for smash, the player turn back and run, instead of running "in reverse mode", hehehh, and very beautiful the backhand smash!! :applause: In Italy tennis players calls this shot "Veronica". Our old player Adriano Panatta was a very specialist of Veronica. :yes:

unfortunately, there's no way to make "z", "x" and the other strikes work anymore. At least on the demo...

RaelIAK,
==> if you used to use X & Z keys to do the slice & top spin strikes, you should now remap these 2 strikes to the new Fire 4 & 5 ; you have to turn on the "Advanced Options" from the "Misc Options" menu to see the "Remap Strikes" button in the "Control" menu

That's exactly what I did.
but pressing any Fire between 4 and 9 just push the ball the real center of the opposite side, with non chance to chosse direction...

In the "Controls" menu, in the "Remap Strikes" screen, can you reassign the buttons for the Fire4-9 ..? Your additional buttons are detected..?
Also, don't forget to assign "any" for the combination direction, instead of "up", "down" or "center", if you map only 1 strike on a Fire.

I can assign the buttons for the fire 4-9.
But I can only see the combination direction for fire 1, fire 2 and fire 1+2.
No way to change the direction for fires 4-9 :?

If you want to change the Top Spin strike, for example, you should put, on the "Remap Strikes" screen :
Code: Select all
Top Spin:   Fire 4   Any

you are right. but on previous version of TEnnis Elbow I was able to add 2 different strikes (don't know the english name for them, but they were really different from strike 1 and 2), using Fire 4 and Fire 5. And I was able to choose the direction of the strikes.
Now, as said, I can press fire 4, or 5 or even 6, 7,8 or 9 but all I get is the ball reaching the exact center of the opposite field)
:?
