I just played with nikzy and so I went to net couple of times to volley. His shots were suppose to go out maybe 3 times, but i hit all of them back in!
Is this a bug?

It occured somewhere near the end of the match.

this is likely normal if the balls weren't going to be fault by much and if you didn't have a net play style (ie: Varied or Volleyer).
When a ball is going to be out, your player tries to guess it's out or not, and his guess is more or less good depending of his play style. Also, the more the ball is going to be out, the less chances he'll play it.

You should add this to the game:

When a player is CAMPING/GUESSING in a spot (not using arrows at all for a certain time T which you can calibrate to make it good) there should be some power handicap if he guesses correctly (~120 kmh max hits or so) Similar problem on ppl moving on putaways to guess correctly, but I guess that happens in real tennis too so it's hard to change that. Thanks

Also, camping/guessing serves standing still and holding acceleration = error

i agree with you.. this version is terrible...

and .. the doubles its ridiculous...the game become more and more worse... the game was much better a few months ago.. this update its terrible

Hey Manu, i've been enjoying this game for a couple years now and ever since you updated it to 2009 and made them new motions i loved the game even more, it's fun for when i'm bored and it's actually the most realistic tennis game out, top spin might look good but it's gameplay is ridicolous..it sucks so bad!

now i do have a question and i don't know how to explain it but i'll try lol

is it possible to make a player have 2 different forehand strikes? like with when federer plays he uses the normal hard stroke and the Nadal-like forehand(the one where his racket turns over his head, understand? lol) now i think it would be crazy if you could add this to the game, like when you do a top spin hit you have this different motion and when you hit the fire 1+2 you just go all out and have the other motion. lol well i hope you understand what i mean:)

love the game, keep it up, hope you won't stop updating it:)

it's working as intended, it's not a bug...
(can't do real collision coz it'd desync when playing with people using 2D courts)

It was a match against CPU

SLOWER BALL WHEN HITTING WITH MY BODY!!!!I cant win normal point always error or easy ball for my opponent!
I just installed 1.0 version and i'm playing great with It!!

Guessing is too powerful in any case, so that's also unrealistic I don't know why people find slower off positioned shots such a big problem lol...it's not a big deal compared to previous versions I think Krisz hates the net clips in doubles, but some of my opponents net clip A LOT and I still beat them so I find this doubles update better than some recent ones that had a lot of bugs/desynchs etc

to

try to at least hit the ball with your arm & the problem will be gone... Also, if you do that, it'll mean you prepared a bit earlier and your strike will be more accurate.
