Internet Connection

Hello everyone!

I have been playing this game for a while and never had a single problem with internet connection or lag's and delays with other players. Recently I had to change of laptop because my old one is dead ( RIP Toshiba ). As right now I am saving money for a desktop, I'm using a laptop which the network card seems to have a little of a problem: every periods of 2 3 minutes it explodes the ping i.e 50ms to 150ms and then goes back to normal. The solution I found was to use a cable connected to the router and voilá, no more lag.

Now my problem is this, Tennis Elbow isn't using or detecting my LAN connection, only WI-FI and I don't really know how to make it work correctly. I tried to turn off wi-fi and only use LAN and nothing.
If someone plays with cable or knows how to make the game use my LAN connection instead of the WI-FI I would appreciate a lot.

Hello,

if you turn off your wi-fi, TE can't connect to the server to list online game ?
Did you try to turn off the wi-fi before launching TE ? Normally, if in this case your browser still can access the Internet, this should work for TE as well.

When I turn off wi-fi, I can't host because it doesn't connect to the main server of TE. When I try to connect to someone I can't join. But I'll try to turn off wi-fi before launching TE and see if it solves it.

EDIT: Thank you ! It solved the whole thing ! Kind regards !
