Verdasco Fan, you have to move the "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 2009\Profiles\WT_Current.Sav" & "WT_Current.Ini" files within the "Default" subfolder, or the folder of your custom profile (I told u so in a topic we had a couple weeks ago).
Tennischampion, I checked & actually the Doc is outdated about the Counter Style bonus...

The Counter Skill Ball Speed Bonus is same whatever the style is. The Counter style just gets a bonus to lower the difficulty of fast balls. I'll likely raise or create new Bonus for the Counter style in the near future.
Imanno, the CRC is there to help people to detect if their opponent changed their skills between 2 sets on a tournament match (there has been several problems about that in the past months).
Mr.Schmith, I doubt any slice could go to 150Km/h ... That's likely someone starting with a slice & finishing with the acceleration...
About the Counter Skill:
The counter skill mainly helps when you stand on or very near of the baseline, ie: in the Danger Zone, as stated in the ChangeLog above.
Most of times, when you stand in the Danger Zone, you'll hit the ball less strongly ; so actually, most of times, the counter skill doesn't raise your ball speed, but prevent it to lower too much.
A defender using the topspin strike standing several meters after the baseline, out of the Danger Zone, will get very little bit out of his counter skill ; in such case, at best, it gives around 3 or 4 km/h bonus at 100% in counter, compared to 0% ; before Build 47 it was 2 ou 3 km/h . And often, it'll be even 0 km/h, coz the ball speed lowers a lot several meters after the bounce.
So at the end, this skill is most useful for Counter style players playing near their baseline ; but all players will get a little speed bonus from it on their b1 strikes when standing in the Danger Zone.
Also, it can helpful in some special cases for passing shots done with the b1.
