1) What is the exact amount for topspin bonus for defenders? Is it possible to get a bonus to go over 100% topspin?

2) How to remove smoke effect? I saw a thread to delete file smoke.tga but I don't think I have the folder it is supposedly in. Do I need to edit a pak file?

3) If I use sams mod, in world tour most surface types are listed as "unknown code! !!" I asked within mod section but I figured it may be worth a shot to ask here as well. I saw something about Lang_eng file, but again i don't think i have this file.

1) It's not a direct bonus on the skill, it's a bonus on the charging time ; and it won't raise the maximum spin you can put in the ball... You can try a bit in warm up mode if you want to get an idea about its strength

3) I guess Sam didn't enter their name ; it's not really an issue (at least for the game engine)

Thank you, I managed to edit the texture so there's only a little smoke.

Regarding topspin, from the documenation and a post you made on an anti-topspin thread, I got the impression that on topspin strikes a defender gets an actual bonus to amount of topspin.

-topspin bonus on the topspin strike
-lower handicap on length and speed of topspin strikes

Defender gets a bonus on the topspin he puts in the ball, but not to his topskill skills ; it's a direct mechanism that works slightly differently than the topspin skill...

The lang_english file is in your data/pak.03 inside the menu folder. You will need to download either Qped or Pakscape to access it.

Also, does topspin affect dropshot bounce,or just slice?
