I just upgraded the 3D Engine to DirectX 9.

If you never installed DirectX 9, you might need to install this => https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... 35&nowin10 .

For me, it says missing, wrong version, or corrupted data files

you have to install it over your current TE2013 folder. If you put it in a new folder, it'll miss plenty of files.

I did that, but it still says missing wrong verion etc.

hum, that's strange.
Could you post your System.log ?
If you have a Mod, try renaming the Mods folder to Mod.bak, to be sure it doesn't interfere with the Pak02 from the patch, and then launch the game again.
If you installed a Mod outside the Mods folder, then hum, it's bad...
Also, be sure to close the game before installing the patch.

After the installation of the recommended file, it seems that freezes in game are less present.

But i can't play online and before installing that it was possible. It tells me that my connexion is not online or to remove the protection of the firewall.

It might be a problem with the game because i'm connected to internet and I can play online in another games.

I checked your System.log and your game is modded outside the Mods folder (Maxou Patch maybe..?), thus the issue.

my TE2013 seems to be able to ping other players, so I guess it's an issue with your firewall. Try to manually delete the game from your firewall settings.

And also u know that directx12 is already exist?

btw i just installed it and it works, i have a high version of directx, like most of ppl here i guess, idk if this will make any difference?

- My nick is [Fake] Algo now, very much doubt someone took it in the past 12 or so hours.
- No games available at all, that's also strange. I can connect to the server, though. It didn't ask me for any new permissions.
It seems as if my game is not "requesting" any info from the server, as "total list request" number doesn't change at all.
Requests in the last hour is also working oddly.

Meg: it's probably just a small step forward towards TE4 I guess? Either that or trying to fix W10 bug (which I never encountered so I can't speak on if it's fixed if that was the goal) nothing really changed if you are talking about graphics.
