Hi Manu

Just wondering
Hows about an option that would allow your player to take "practice" swings while waiting to return serve?
It ain't really necessary, but it could be just a nice feature...(everybody does it in real life)
Maybe it could work with the same functions that are used with the "normal" swings...

I am expecting the following for the TE 2010:
I think these will add depth and twist to TE.
1. Tennis shop for our hard earned money on games of course.
2. Ability to customize the features of the player (Hair particularly)
3. Tennis raquet bought on the shop that affects the game. Like for example, real raquet have different features and different effects on play too. It would be nice to have that in TE.
4. On World Tour, Novice player would be to start with a wood raquet, why not isnt it? Then later on, can buy with better raquet on shop. Dont know if this will be implemented online :)
4. 100% Multiplay. That means, doubles Online/LAN have 4 human players too.
5. Animations that is unique to a particular player. That only that particular player will use that animation. Or probably we users can assign animation to any player and be a dedicated animation for that player.
6. If shop will be available, would it be fun to have gears ( raquet, clothes etc.) that depreciate/wears in time. That is we should buy again to replace those gears. Why not, we could earn money on game.

I would like to see that top players (in World Tour) win a lot more matches, cause you see Federer, Nadal, Murray, Djokovic and now Del Potro ( :D ) with more than 6000 points (3000 -more or less- points in the old ranking sistem) and in the game, you can be top 5 with 3000 points (well) but between you and the number 1 there is only 1500/2000 points.

I mean... it would be great that Federer and Nadal reaches at least semifinals in 90% of the tournaments that they play, and the final in 75%... for Murray, Djokovic and Del Potro it would be 90% quarters, 70% semifinals and 50% finals... so they can have a lot of points. Do you understand what I mean? For example, Federer got more than 8000 points in 2006 and Nadal did almost the same from May 2008 - May 2009.

Hey Manu

In regards to service styles, Boris Becker had a VERY distinct and interesting serve preparation...May be worth trying... (seems like one of the animes in TE2006 had maybe some of his serve mannerisms, no?)

Also, I might be nitpicking a bit here, but, could you, on the backhand volley, maybe keep the player a little more sideways and extend the sprites non-hitting arm a bit more out away from his body?

In real life the non-hitting arm is extended this way for balance and to keep the torso sideways and stable through the hit and also to add more "punch" to the volley...(on both 1H slice and 1H topspin backhands as well)
It's similar to a baseball umpire giving the "safe" sign...

You did an excellent job with both 1H backhand groundies in this regard...

While I realize that this has no effect on the amount of "punch" or power of the volley in a computer tennis game, stylelistically, as well as effectively, it's the "proper" way to execute the 1H backhand volley...

You've improved the animes so much that one could almost use TE as a tennis teaching aid...

Well SERVE and VOLLEY is to be done for volleyers.i tried to play as volleyer but it sucks a lot,i mean its getting hard to volley after serve.manutoo pls see to update this:
1)after a hugh sidespan serve i mean even if opponent expects serve he shud hit with topspin and less speed.i mean in real life no opponent can hit everytime a 145kmph shot for returning a strong serve which is happening in this game.look at it once and change this once.
2)lol  acceleration shud be positive for returning a serve(which is fine in this game) but while doing shots in a rally, there shud negative acceleration.i mean a player shud deccelerate after playing big rallies becos of stress and he shud get tired from starting to last point.
3)a player shud lose stamina from point to point.that is the players acceleration and strength shud decrease as time increases and after playing 3games the acceleration and strength shud be reset to default value again bnecos of break

In world tour, now it's almost impossible to do a good passing... volleyers are very very good...

but in network gaming u cant even come towards net becos all players normally hit strong shots and hence a volleyer does lot of errors :annoyed: .

ManuTOO this might not be really important but for the next update i think you should make the referee and the audience more realistic!!!

I think its quite not possible at this version. Maybe when Manutoo release a 3D court and audiences version of TE. But doing some sprites actions on them will do the trick like what he did on the line judges.
