the game is almost done..!
Now it just misses the translations, the doc & some new music and it'll be the final release..! (hopefully all of this should happen before I die from tiredness )

It also misses better outfit config for the top players in the World Tour. I'll do a special topic about this soon, coz I'll need ur help..!

- World Tour done, player bases updated to 2008 season
- New zoom option for Camera Modes

Right now, I'm super tired and no time to carefully test, so I hope I didn't do too much mistakes. Hopefully, you'll let me know about them, and I'll correct them & update the version tomorrow morning if needed...

Now, I need 2 or 3 beta testers ready to buy the full version now with a 50% discount to test the World Tour, to be sure no big bug is left there...
Let me know if u're interested; u should have at least 5 hours free this week-end to test the game... (write ur answer in this topic and I'll send u a PM with the buy link if you're chosen).

If you bought TE2006 since the 1st September, let me know, u'll get TE2009 for free to beta test it right away.

Also, could it be possible to make a setting where the user can adjust BallDiffScale and PrecisionScale without having to go to the .ini file?
Could you define what each one means? I'm still a little unclear about the difference between the two.

Humm, no, this is a very advanced setting which can easily mess up the gameplay big time, so it'll stay in the .ini for now...


BallDiffScale => reduce/raise the penalties due to misplacement in the danger zone & around the sweet spot
PrecisionScale => reduce/raise the time needed to do an accurate shot, either u have misplacement penalties or not.
Try with the aiming helper on, u should easily see the effect of the PrecisionScale...

Hmm....Manu, is it my imagination or did you tune the volleying just a li'l tad bit (or am I just getting better at it ?):wink: Also, I was gonna ask about hats/ bandanas and such but you beat me to it!! You are truly "DA BOMB!!!"(as we say here in the U.S.)

ok. after testing a little bit, first bug i noticed is the sound of ball bouncing disappears after the first few games have been played

i'll keep reporting.

Version updated :
- a bunch of little glitches corrected in the World Tour, the main one being the "Next Match" button won't break every week, so if u select a tournament after several week, u won't have to click many times anymore

i'm not sure about TE2006 though. maybe i'll check next time.

anyway there are couple of bugs i found;

- when the match finished. the fastest serve at "match summary" isn't right. it combined all the number of the fastest serves from all 3 sets (for example, 195+186+202) instead showing the fastest one.

- i played Future tournament at Germany. i had qualified in singles and then played doubles before losing in 1R. the problem is i can't move on to play in the main draw of singles after that loss bc the result show i lost 1R both singles and doubles.

- the "swap ends" doesn't work @ world tour. i can't go to play at the opposite side of the court.

vaidisova, if you still have it, could u send me your saved game just before the start of the week where u lost in R1 of doubles ..?
It should be in "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 2009\Profiles\Default" (or "Default\Wta" if u play with women), it should be either Tour07.sav, Tour08.sav or Tour09.sav ; and send it compressed in .rar or .zip to contact(at)managames.com ...

that's the first week of my player. there is no the previous one
my player played 3 matches in qualifying and then played qualifying match for doubles. after losing i saved the game and then tried to go for "next match" and it said i need to pick the next tournament bc i failed to qualify for both singles and doubles.

tell me if you still want this saved game anyway.
