There is anyway to control the amount of backspin/sidespin generated on the player's shots, especially slices?
I know that slices in TE generates 50% backspin/50% sidespin, but I wanted to increase the amount of backspin generated and decrease the sidespin one.

Also, why only topspin has it's own meter? Shoudn't backspin and, maybe, sidespin have their own too?

1- no, you can't

2- anybody can slice about the same, but topspin varies a lot amongst all players.

So, in my opinion, that's something that could be considered in future updates. Controlling the backspin/sidespin ratio in slices can be useful in some courts and/or against some players.
Also, the amount of spin generated in shots varies a lot amongst players, be it topspin or backspin. But this isn't very visible nowadays because slice are much less used.
