Hello,

why or what ?
Why => it gives you free points (through aces, service winners, and easy returns), and often gives you advantage to start the rallies
What => high service skills + being able to aim for the lines + varying the effects, the speed & the direction so your opponent won't be able to anticipate it

Manu, you have to know that if you put your player near the judges (max behind the baseline), you can catch 95/99 % of the serves (> 215kmh included)

Already test it ... then after the return you run immediatly 3m behind the bseline & that's all

The point is, why if i use onlu b1+b2 without choose the direction i serve with a range of 180-220 km/h? Is there something to do in respect with the animation?

Fighter Fognini,
just learn the time of left/right aiming it requires to send the ball on the left/right line.
Serve speed & success are random.
Animation influences only your visual feedback.

I have a question about services:

I was experimenting different things with my service, and I tried the following: prepare a Top Spin serve (holding the Top Spin button (I use separate buttons for top spin and slice)) during ball toss, and sometime before hitting the ball, change it to Slice serve. I had the impression that the serve was much more fast and still with effect, and maybe with a high kick. Also doing that, sometimes the service was very angled, close to the net, when I tried hitting the sidelines. I don't know if it was just my impression, but is it possible to obtain results like these? Is there logic on this?

antimouse,
topspin + slice = kick serve... Although, you put any topspin nor slice using these buttons ; the only way is to push up or down during the serve preparation.

Hmmm interesting, Manu!
However, I'm not pushing up or down, I'm using the alternate button configuration and it is working oO

Hum, I just double-checked, and nope, it's not working, except if you meant "Alternate Strike Up/Down" buttons.
Moreover, slice = B2, so it even doesn't have any up/down direction anyway.

Yes, that's what I meant, "Alternate Strike Up/Down" buttons. I didn't remember the exact name :D
