Nope, TE is based in a perfect engine (referees never make a mistake)

Some patches sometimes have a smaller ball mark, so, sometimes the ball looks out, and it's really in ;)

it would be great to add some umpire mistakes sometimes so that we have to choose wisely when to call hawkeye and when not.

Yes, it would be amazing, but manutoo already reply some of this topics, saying it's impossible to add Hawk Eye to this game :|

Sadly, the whole game engine have to be changed for hawkeye, and that means almost a whole new game :(

Hawkeye challenges exist in real life so that the players can reduce the human error aspect in line calls... That aspect doesn't exist in TE for the reason that it is a computer simulation, so there is obviously no human error in line calls so no reason to include hawkeye in TE.

TE engine never makes mistakes thats right. But what if there can be a system installed thats refferee's could give wrong decisions (like a percentage) so you have to challenge it. Would that not be great ?

Yeah, i have played a Tennis game with the Hawk-Eye system in place :P There was two challenges per match, not the three per set they have now in real life.

The Challenges were fun at first and then they become very boring as the right calls weren't made just so you'd appeal ? And when yours or the computers challenges ran out, the game became silly because the 'obvious' balls that were OUT! And i mean they were miles OUT!! Would never be called out and there was nothing you could do because the number of challenges had ran out. The computer player would always appeal over anything and would lose its Challenges before the match had even got properly started! I'm sure Manutoo would do a better job with the Hawk-Eye system in TE  But it would still be open to errors and this game would lose a lot of its simulation appeal :fear: IMO...
