I'm sure there would be no gains, but I think it would mean more supported distros, i.e. those without 32-bit support. And hopefully it's not too much hassle on your end to compile 64 bits binaries

Thanks a lot for a linux version, I couldn't have the game working with wine. But can the conf' file on the windows version be used on the linux one ?

normally, all the data files, saved games & conf files should be compatible between Windows & Linux (& Mac ).

Hi, I have a question in regards to this Linux version. I have Linux Mint 16, 32 bit machine, Ubuntu based and I downloaded and extracted the linux version file to the desktop. However when I double click/click what I think is the main start file (the file that says tenniselbow2013) nothing happens, like nothing at all, it won't run or show an error or anything, it just seems like a dead file What could be the problem here? and how can I fix it?

check you have read/write/exec access on all files of the whole folder. Then launch the game, and if still nothing, check if you got a System.log file in the folder, and look for error or warning in it.

While trying to install the ubuntu version and after solving all of the dependencies and installed them...

It gave me a floating point exception after starting the game with the initial screen saying this :

Opened Pak 'Data/Pak01.Pak', with 1621 files inside
Opened Pak 'Data/Pak02.Pak', with 0 files inside
Floating point exception (core dumped)

I attached the System.log file with this reply . So I am waiting for the reply

what is your Ubuntu version ?
I think it works on 12 & 14, but maybe not on more recent ones.

Yea mine is a more recent one ... 16.04
