Postby gofeddy » 20 Oct 2007, 08:17

Hi,
I hav a small problem here. My player seems to be suffering from an injury(gastric problem n nothing else) very often. It has happened 3 times in 1 year. Once at the French open semis......then montreal masters....and shangai semis. I hav won 3 grand slams the same year n got injured in french....n shangai....i could hav got all 4 granslams with masters cup...
i also have an injury resistance of 2 stars but still seem to suffer from injjuries n why only gasric problem??
Any remedies.....tips??

Hello,

how high was your injury risk when you got injured ?
You should rest more if you get injured too often...

I am trying to coach four women on the 'pro' level using the most recent version. Injuries are rampant. One woman has had four so far and two others two each. One is Emily (the default player) who has two levels in injury resistance AND is travelling with her coach who has 6% in physiotherapy.

To answer your question about injury risk, in two cases it was 'very low' with the bar barely being visible, and in the other six it was 'very low' with no bar showing at all. Ironically, on the two occaisions players have had injury risk rise to 'medium', nothing happened (neither player who had injury resistance).

Hello Curtis,

even with the bar very low, it is still possible to get injured, it's just need to be unlucky... ;)
But on the whole (ie = 100 years of play), it should be less often than when the bar is medium, and way less often than when the bar is high...

an update four months later

July must be a bad month — four injuries to three players, all with no visible injury bar. I am making an effort to keep the bar always at 0, but it doesn't appear to have much effect.

At least Emily hasn't gone down again.
