What difficulty is the more realistic? Incredible?

Doesn't seem so to me, I have an pretty good player, rally skills all over 90%, mental and physical high too, I have also high return skill. And still, IRL doubles specialists (Bryan brothers, Knowles, Nestor) manage to beat me in the singles. I also see them reach some crazy rounds in tournaments, like a QF in Wimbledon singles, that is IMHO impossible. And they also defeat some other good players, not only me.

Also, when I want to play doubles in Davis cup, before it a message pops up, saying that mine and mine's doubles partner doubles ranking is not high enough and this tournament does not have an qualyfing draw, even though he is not from the same country as I am. This should not pop-up, only if your DC captain choosed you to play or not.
:)

I'll probably come with more matters later...

Hello,

the difficulty level doesn't influence the result against the other players. It only influences the training efficiency and the skill dropping speed.

It's sure the double players are a little bit too strong (*), but it's delicate to get the good balance between the single & double players, while letting the human player choose to freely play one, or the other, or both.

(*) : but not that much too strong; I think I already saw a couple of double specialists going more in single tournaments and getting honest results on fast surfaces.

Thanks to report the Davis message bug, I just have corrected it (with 2 other little bugs found while testing ! :shock: ) , so it'll be fixed next time I'll update the version on the site...

Well, I think that the doubles specialist are a little bit too strong, and it seems unrealistic to me, that Daniel Nestor beats me in a QF of a grandslam, with the defeats of some top singles players behind me. I think it needs a little bit tweaking.

Now I have an question. :) Is there an pop-up message that will show itself when you make an career/calendar year GRANDSLAM? I don't know, I haven't won all for of them yet, but is there something like this? If no, could it be incorporated? :)

Next one, it would be nice if it would be possible to have an US Open Series in the game, like IRL, the player who wins the Series gets some premium money.

@Guest :
>> it seems unrealistic to me, that Daniel Nestor beats me in a QF

in Wimbledon right ? It seems your player was a rally specialist, not a volleyer, so it's not so unrealistic to lose against a volleyer on the fastest surface existing...

>> career/calendar year GRANDSLAM

you have a message for calendar and the other 2 years Grand Slam, but not for the Career Grand Slam (it has been invented only for Aggassi ;) ).

>> US Open Series

Not planning to do it, I don't like it too much... :roll:

@Cenc :
just did 2 tests :
2006 :
RG final : Federer beats Nadal
Winby final : Roddick beats Nalbandian

2000 :
RG final : Kuerten beats Ferrero
Wimby final : Schalken beats Henman

Not too bad... :roll:
Maybe you should try to update your version, if you didn't do it since end of last July.
