Old calendar : different tournaments every year

Postby FilipeMB » 12 Aug 2007, 18:44

manutoo,
is there any possibility that we can input old calendars (90, 91, etc) into the game, so we can play the game with more fidelity to the reality.
i mean, there was was tourneys in '98 as Philidelphia, Scottsdale, Memphis, Split, Key Biscaine, Hong Kong, Atlanta, Prague, Coral Springs + many others

Hello,

it's not planned for the moment... It's kinda difficult to handle, especially for the archive issues.

The only easy way to do would be when a tournament is replaced by another one on the same week.

i mean, for programmers, it's simple.
if year = X
then load tourCategoryX.txt
load tourX.txt

And there is all the tourneys, with points system in www.itftennis.com or www.stevegtennis.com (1990-2007)

Yup, you can change the Tour.ini every year, but you need to have the same number of tournaments every year, and the past results will incorrectly displayed if you change the tournament order.
