So in addition to rank per year manutoo is there anyway you can do rank per year and rank per every 6 months of the year.

For example Serena Williams lets say her rank at the end of 2011 is 8

but Serena in 2011 was injured the first half of the season until Wimbledon.

So maybe like you can do rank per every 6 months(after french open)

The First half Serena was ranked around 180

2011 First Half - 180
2011 Second Half - 8

The second half she ends at 8


Do you see what I'm trying to say? The explanation is kind of messy..

if I bring change to the RPY, I guess I'd add a InjuryPeriods entry to remove or temporary lower the skills of some players. Doubling the ranks for all players would be just too much work & would give quite inaccurate results, due to the randomness nature of the engine.
But I don't have plan to change that right now...
