A few quirky bugs

Postby KAugsburger » 14 Aug 2010, 19:47

I am running TEM 1.0F and I have noticed a few quirks in the game.

1- In the current game I am playing I played at the end of my first season I played the #1 player in the world in a challenger at the end of the year. This seems unrealistic since I can't recall any top 20 player ever playing in a challenger and I can't imagine any top player wanting to play such an event since the potential prize money is so small.

2- I also just had one of the players I coach got his doubles team entered twice in the same tournament. The same team closed out the finals of the Masters event in Shanghai and played themselves in the final!

3- On the ATP tour the season ending championships drops off the week after the last tour event is played. It seems a little weird when the seedings don't match the rankings for the season ending championships.

I would be happy to send you the saved game file if that helps.

Hello,

1- this is possible to happen, but this should mean the game engine ran out of a awful lot of players to fill the draws for that week, and thus had to pick top players to finish to fill them.
Did you change your Tournament or Player bases..?

2- I had been hunting this bug for a very long time, still with no success so far... :fear:

3- Did the seeding matched the Race ranking..? I just checked, and the Masters occur 2 weeks after Paris, so the seeding should be correct...

I seem to remember Andy Roddick played a Challenger event a couple of years ago after an early exit from the French (surprise!). I think his motivation was to play a couple of extra matches on grass before Wimbledon. That's the only time I can recall it ever happening though :) I certainly cannot imagine it happening after the World Tour Finals though I guess it's conceivable a player coming back from injury might be keen to play some matches before the Australian Open.
