Graphical editor to edit Tournaments

People, people!

I've been busy busy busy with work, and other personal stuff, that required the postponement of the editor.
But, 1 year later, v2.0 is out!
Remade in VS2005 (.NET Framework 2.0 may be required), and added the following:

- Load and save of Tour.ATP.ini, Tour.WTA.ini, TourCategory.ATP.ini and TourCategory.WTA.ini;
- Tournaments now editable.

Once again, please backup your data files before making any changes. The program can/will have bugs, and the .ini files may be corrupted.

The new version is attached to this message.

I'd really appreciate comments, bugs found, etc.

Thanks! And sorry about the loooong delay... :(

Could you please explain how to use the program for those of us who aren't so technical literate?

Ok.
Somehow this was a long thread that got "cut off".

Basically, this application is a graphical editor for the Tennis Elbow/Tennis Elbow Manager configuration files (players.atp.ini, tour.atp.ini, etc).
I think it's easier than manually changing the configuration file.

Usage:

First of all, when you open the application, you can select whether you want to edit the ATP or WTA files.
Next, you have to select the directory where your Tennis Elbow/Tennis Elbow Manager game is installed, through the "Select Path" button.
Ex: C:\Program Files\Managames\Tennis Elbow

Press Load.

The program will then load the configuration files from the Data subdirectory (Ex: C:\Program Files\Managames\Tennis Elbow\Data).

On the left side of the new window, you have a list of all the players/tournaments. Just double-click the ones you want to edit, and change the values.
Save the files through the "Save" option, under "File".
And you're done!

If you have any more questions, just ask! :)

It says 'categories' but nothing shows up when I click on it. It's just blank, what's this about?

Categories will be the next editable thing in the editor: the tournament category files, TourCategory.ATP.ini and TourCategory.WTA.ini.
For now it's blank. The next version will have the ability to edit the categories attributes.

I assume your program won't work with the Mac OS?

The editor does not work. After downloading the file i tried to open it with win.rar and 7zip. Unpack with winrar has 4 errors. Repairing it doesn't solve the problem. I see the start page, where i can choose between ATP and WTA, i can select the path, but when i click on load this appears:
The file or assembly "DataAccess, Version=1.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0" is not found. The system can`t find this file

Thanks for your help

The forum switched hosts a while ago when there was a problem with the original host, and many of the attachments uploaded before then are now corrupt.

I never managed to get this before then so I can't re-upload it.

Is there any other way to edit players and their skills, except of the way described in "How to mod"?
